He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Kyle and Lucille Kyle; his brother Rick Kyle; and his former wife Mary Ellen. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Preston; his sons, Toby and Rick Kyle; and his stepchildren, Shaina Bent, Sindy Wilson, Susie Corkery, Shelley Henson and Kit Preston.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Clairemont Cemetery.
