Mike Hunter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Hunter of Atascocita, Texas, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dianne Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hunter; his daughters, Heather Porter (Casey Porter) and Cortney Hunter (Corbin Swearengen); his grandsons, Everett, Jackson, Walker Swearengen and Andrew Porter; his father Daniel Hunter (Karen Hunter); and his siblings, Angela Hunter Mabry (Chris Mabry), Melissa Mayfield (Bryan Mayfield), Leah Arnett (Michael Arnett) and Brandon Hardin (Mirthala Hardin). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Home (17404 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Atascocita, TX 77346). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at 22731 Ford Rd, Porter, TX 77365.
