She was predeceased by: her husband Merejildo Sanchez; her sons, Louis Butch Sanchez and Albert Al Sanchez; and her siblings, Elena G. Lopez, Tio Jesse, Tio Matias, Tio Pancho, Tio Joe, Tio Ruben and Tio Tony Guzman.
She is survived by: her children, David Sanchez, Stephen Sanchez, Regino Sanchez (Joann), Leonor I. Figueroa, Rachel Varela (Marcelino), Teresa Cantu (Karl) and Martha Sanchez. She is also survived by the 26 grandchildren 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Ridge Mortuary (8008 Military Dr W, San Antonio, TX 78227). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church (11150 Macdona Lacoste Rd, Atascosa, TX 78002). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
