He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cecil Loftin and Bernice Knowles Loftin; his grandson Mikel Loftin; his daughter-in-law Carrie Loftin; his aunt Cora Lovell Tidwell; his uncles, David and Steve Knowles; and his grandparents, Jessie, Perilla Knowles, Garth and Margaret Garmon.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Loftin; his son Cecil Glen Loftin of Bogata; his grandsons, James and Ben Loftin; his children, Robin Landress (Eric), Josh Stephens (Regina) and Daniel Loftin; and his aunt Geri Knowles of Paris. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
