With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Glenn Rowell of Athens, Texas, born in Greenville, Texas, who passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Deered Rowell and Eddie Earlene Rowell (Sowel); and his siblings, Johnny Rowell, Dale Rowell and Angela Rowell.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Carolyn; his wife Carolyn Rowell of Athens; his children, Bret Rowell (Shannon) of Ft. Worth and Renee Smith (Aaron "Bubba") of Athens; and his grandchildren, Reagan Rowell, Kailey Rowell, Kinsey Rowell, Avery Rowell, Kyle Smith and Kara Smith.
