He was predeceased by: his parents, George Griffin and Eliza Mae "Doll"; his wife Martha Nell (Featherston); and his siblings, Nina Mae (Steve Hart) and Theodore (Jimmy Lee).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lee Kirksey, Huey Bert of Albert, AC, Clara, David, Darlene, Linda, Thomas Carroll and Paul Anthony; his daughters, Peggy (Jimmy Goodall) and Paula (Jeff Grubbs); his siblings, Gary and Virginia Knott (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Ashley Rogers (Jacob), Buddy Walker (Brooke), Brittany Thomas (Josh), James Rogers (Stacy), Trinity Goodall (Chris) and Dawson Turner (Kiley). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
