He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Marrón Sotelo and Juana Acosta Balades; his brother Rogelio Marrón; and his sons, Felipe Jr. Marrón, Ricardo Marrón and Juan Marrón.
He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Marrón of Santa Elena, Jalisco; and his daughters, Magdalena Cerrillo (Genaro Cerrillo) of Athens, Leticia Marrón (José Luis Fraire) of Athens and Lidia Marrón (Héctor Flores) of Athens. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
