He is survived by: his wife Mary Imogene Slaughter; his daughter Nikki Jane Mills; his grandchildren, Ali Michelle Mills and Eric Noel Padron; and his nieces and nephews, Donnie Stevens, Sherrie Slaughter, Annette Trent, Pam Allen, Donna Marrs, Paula Wilson, Mike Norton, Larry Norton, Patti Norton, Rodney Norton and Jason Norton.
