He was predeceased by: his parents, Dulan J. Wright (DJ) and Ava Loriece Smith; his stepfather Deryl Owen; and his son Jerry Don Wright Jr. Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Wright of Palestine; his daughter Colleen Adams; his son-in-law Michael Adams; his grandchildren, Erek Adams of Anna and Nicole Wright (Josh Olson) of Springfield; his great grandchild Jerry Wayne Olson; and his sister Peggy Holcomb of Irving. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
