It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mack O. Gore of Athens, Texas, born in Oakwood, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gore and Viola Redding Gore; his former wife Irene Johnson; his son Darrell; his wife Betty Jo; his siblings, Lloyd, Howard, Roy, Ida Dale and Sue; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Kittles, Victor Kittles, Tom Kittles, Charles Rabon and Curtis Duck.
He is survived by: his son Marcus Gore (Darrell); and his siblings-in-law, Louise Gore, Elba Gore, Carol Gore, Sally Kittles Miller (Donny), Patricia Kittles Summey, Stella Kittles Sikes, Jo Ann Holub Kittles, Pam Burch Kittles and Bill Kittles (Pat). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
