He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Dale Edwards; his brother Keith Edwards; and his grandparents, Myles, Hazel LupPlace, James Leon and Jewel Lane Edwards.
He is survived by: his mother Kathy LupPlace Edwards of Athens; his wife Lindsey Van Dusen Edwards; his children, Zoey of Athens, Madelaine of Athens and Myles of Athens; his siblings, Dorothy Edwards Welch (Eric) of Chandler, JD Edwards (Danielle) of Athens and Ethan Edwards (Kelsey) of Rockwall; his parents-in-law, Betty Van Dusen and Steve Van Dusen; his nieces, Tori Mobley, Taylor Welch, Tessa Welch, Xyler Thorn, Evelyn Edwards and Abigail Van Dusen; his nephew Benton Van Dusen; and his brothers-in-law, Eric Van Dusen (Christina) of Wylie and Will Van Dusen of Austin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a large host of friends.
