He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Pitts and Zola Cantrell Pitts. He is survived by: his son Glenn Pitts; his grandson Robert Pitts (Sarah); his great grandchild Carl Pitts; his daughters, Carolyn Bryant and Claire Fuller (Noah Bryant); his sisters, Loretta McDaniel and Linda Kirk; his aunt Ruby Smith; and his cousins, Alice Smith and Susan Caballero (John). He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
