William Dye Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Dye in Athens, Texas, born in Coushatta, Louisiana, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He is survived by: his wife Karen B. Dye; his son Christopher B. Dye (Jee Hyun); his granddaughter Haeun; his daughter Kellie D. Brisse (Wade); his grandson Taylor (Josefina); his great grandchild Elena; his granddaughter Caitlin (Brandon); and his great grandchild Poppy. He is also survived by three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church, Athens, or the charity of your choice.
