He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Lightfoot and Carrie Lightfoot. He is survived by: his wife Judy Collins; his children, Janet Buffamante (Eric), Joel Lightfoot (Steen), Joshua Lightfoot (Kimberley) and James Lightfoot; and his sister Topsy Louise Fassbender (Wally). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanner Funeral Service (103 W Main St, Atlanta, TX 75551). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (2924 Co Rd 4919, Bloomburg, TX 75556).
