She was predeceased by: her parents, Meriman Fryday and Evelyn Ritchie Fryday; her husband Don Thompson; and her grandson Donovan Dupree. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Wilson (Bubba) of Bivins, Tammy Thompson of Atlanta and Mona Dupree (Robbie) of Atlanta, Texas; her brother Larry Fryday (Linda) of Bastrop, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Lucas Wilson (Jamie), Kirby Washington (Bobby), Matthew Dupree (Diego) and Cade Dupree; her great grandchildren, Rylea Wilson, Ayden Washington, Kimberlynn Washington, Reece Dupree, Jaxon Dupree and Evelyn Washington; her close friends, Gay Ethridge and Chubbins; and her caregiver Deborah Norton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanner Funeral Service (103 W Main St, Atlanta, TX 75551). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
