Robert Hunter Obituary
Robert Lee Hunter, born April 14, 1964, in Atlanta TX, passed from this life to the next on February 27, 2026, at his home in Atlanta TX. He was 61 years old.
He is preceded in death by Evelyn (Morgan) Butler, Mary Morgan, May Bell Hunter-Richard, and Janet Tiller-Hunter.
He is survived by his loving wife Teresa-Spencer Hunter; father Porter C. Hunter (Rosie); son Darren Murphy; stepchildren Shafondal, Terrence, Clarecius, Rosanna, Antonia, LaDerriyan, Ericka, Najed, and Danny; siblings Delores, Ruby, Jerry, LaSaundra, Patrilla, and Melissa; aunt Bonnie Lee; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; special friends JP Madlock and Mike Jones; and numerous other relatives and dear friends.
Robert honorably served our great nation in the United States Army from 1983-1986 and the United States Marine Corps from 1987-1992.
A funeral service in Robert's honor will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Enon 1st Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta TX, beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
