She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Steger Sr.; her daughter Pam Steger; and her mother Jackie Mae Terry. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Perry (Michael) of Longview, Mike Taylor (Beth) of Liberty and Hugh Steger of Texarkana, Texas; her grandchildren, Brad Eaves, Jeremy Beard, Micky Privett, Josh Taylor, Nicole Holley, Mackenzi Potetz and Jackson Steger; and her daughter-in-law Autumn Wood Steger. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanner Funeral Service (103 W Main St, Atlanta, TX 75551). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
