He is survived by: his wife Leila of Aubrey; his daughter Kelly Childress (Jamey) of Big Sandy, TX; his stepson Steve Watkins (Michelle) of Aubrey, TX; and his grandchildren, Maci Childress, Lainey Childress, Kenlee Childress, Ella Watkins, Gage Owen and Chloe Owen. He is also survived by his family, his special bond with his grandchildren, his love of animals.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Slay Memorial Funeral Center (400 US-377, Aubrey, TX 76227). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
