Alice Green Snead Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Alice Green Snead in Austin, Texas, born in Jacksonville, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Alice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alice's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. James D. Sewell and Julie Stevenson; her son-in-law Tom; her grandchildren, Dr. Allyson Stevenson-King (Andrew) and TJ Stevenson (Caroline); and her stepgranddaughter Deb Stevenson (Jen). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
The family is grateful that some of you may choose to honor Alyce's life through a donation and requests either the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Inc. (http://www.youthranches.org.) or Mobile Loaves and Fishes/Community First!
