She was predeceased by: her parents, Elutario Garcia and Margarita Garcia (Gomez); her husband Jesus Medrano Sr.; her sons, Paul Medrano and Jesse Medrano Jr.; and her siblings, Timoteo, Amador Garcia, Lydia Martinez and Maria Banda.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Calderon (Juan), Yolanda Ruiz (Wenceslao) and Joe Medrano (Mary Jane); and her sister Augustina Flores. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home of Austin (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78745).
