He was predeceased by: his parents, Narvell Winn Hemphill and Willie Hill; his wife Etta Marie Hill; his siblings, Willie Lee Harper, Rosezetta Houston, Colleen Demps, Lenora Pratt, Elnora Albert, Edmond Hill, Jimmy Lee Hill, Frank James Hill and Clayton Hemphill; and his sons, Frankie Lee Hill, Bobby Lee Hill Sr. and Ray "RayBoy" Hill.
He is survived by: his sister Lue Rece Tennon of Austin; and his children, Carolina Hill Jackson, Larry D. Anderson (Von), Linda Faye Hughes (Daniel), Andrew Eugene Hill, Jr. (Sharry), Fay Eugene McMarion Carter (Brent), Debra Hill Gray (Robert), David Wayne Hill (Chrishun) and Michael Ray Hill (Miccaa). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of friends and relatives.
He lived through The Great Depression of the 1930s, the invention of Color Tv in the 50s, the Civil Rights Movement of the 60s, 1970's Disco Era, the Rubik's cube and Pac-man in the 80's, High-top fades in the 90's, Barack Obama became the 1st Black President in 2008, then backdoored his presidency in 2012, now we finally arrive to the 2020's.. Covid-19 Pandemic.
