Though Annie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Grace Clark and Sterling Henry Brown; her daughter Laurie Ann Markum; and her former husband Gerald D. Markum. She is survived by: her son Michael L. Markum; and her great grandchildren, Bethani Ophelia Mackin and Landen Lake Davidson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elgin Funeral Home (712 N Avenue C, Elgin, TX 78621). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (229 Pleasant Grove Loop, Elgin, TX 78621).
