She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Guadalupe and Amelia Ybarra Diaz (Crispin Robledo); her son Joe Almaguer; her son-in-law Eric Benavides; her siblings, Guadalupe Diaz, Max Diaz, Manuela Bessie Garcia, Reyes Martinez, Janie Salazar and Victoria Berron; and her grandmother Nana.
She is survived by: her children, Ben Almaguer (Rita Ramon), Emilio Almaguer Jr., Robert Almaguer (Irma Wilborn) and Barbara Benavides; and her sisters, Mary Olgine and Tia. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
