She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Hernandez and Guadalupe Farias "Lupe"; her brother Oscar Hernandez; and her grandparents, Jesus Hernandez and Victoria Hernandez.
She is survived by: her son Brandon Kessinger; and her sister Loraine Hernandez Maldonado. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - South Side (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A prayer will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025.
In lieu of gifts, flowers may be sent directly to Mission Funeral Home to honor Arlene's memory.
