He is survived by: his sister Bertha Stein of St. Louis, MO; his children, John Lynn Stein (Patty) of Indio, CA, Joel David Stein (Lora) of Nederland, TX and Jana Dee Smith (Fred) of Joplin, MO.; his granddaughters, Tarja Brown, Arie Smith, Jaclyn Stein and Sarah Stein; his close friend Jan Teeler; and his family Virginia. He is also survived by two great-grandsons; and five great-granddaughters.
