He is survived by: his son Jontel Johnson (DeShawn); his grandson King Nigel; and his siblings, Oscar B. Howard Jr., Shirley Ann Blackman, Linda Howard-LeDee (Alfred) and Jerry Preston Howard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
