Aung Lee Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on July 29, 2025, at the age of 74, Aung Lee in Austin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Aung leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Aung may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Lee; his children, Nicole Lee and Terence Lee; his daughter-in-law Melanie Gilman; and his adoptive son Scott Helsley.
In lieu of flowers, our family requests donations to be made in his memory to the LUNGevity Foundation (link below) in hopes to contribute to a future where families are spared the heartbreak of this disease.
