She is survived by: her husband Martin Cortez; her son Javier Sauceda; her stepson Jonathan Cortez of Austin; her aunt Geneva; her uncle Johnny Leazer; and her cousins, Johnny Leazer Jr. and Mary Leazer Rogers.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Live Oak Cemetery (6400 Twin Creek Rd, Manchaca, TX 78652).
