He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Attal Potts; his son David Carl Potts; and his brother Raymond Potts. He is survived by: his sister Linda Potts Jarosek; his children, John Pollett (Brenda) and Diane Alencar Shaya (Salim); his grandchildren, Emily Reeves, John Aaron Pollett and Robert Tom Alencar; and his great grandchild Bennett Reeves. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
