Billy Vaughn Koen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Vaughn Koen of Austin, Texas, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Billy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Vaughn Koen and Margaret Branch Koen; his wife Deanne Koen; and his sister Beverly Ann LaGrone. He is survived by: his sons, Kent (Jennifer) and Douglas (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Brady, Kennedy, Bailey and Vaughn.
