As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Brent may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Jean Huber and Billy Fred Hilliard; and his brothers, Larry McGaffey and Blaine Hilliard. He is survived by: his girlfriend Susan Emily Russell; and his niece Chelsea Hilliard Tyra.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the White Rock Lake (10030 E NW Hwy, Dallas, TX 75238).
Brent's commitment to education and science continued even after his diagnosis, as he made the selfless decision to donate his brain to the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. His contribution to the neurology department's brain bank ensures that his legacy will aid in advancing research for years to come.
