With sadness, we share the passing of Brodie Lynn Beard of Austin, Texas. Brodie, born on January 2, 1947, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Frank; and his parents, Frank McLaughlin Beard and Mary Ann Todd Beard. He is survived by: his children, Ted Beard, Allison Beard Wall (Kevin), Sara Beard Morris (Jason) and Anne Marie Beard; his granddaughters, Greta Wall Easter (Tyler), Erin Wall, Mirella Beard, Adah Morris, Claire Morris and Josephine Morris; his great grandchild Maddix Easter; and his wife Mary Boswell Beard.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Harrell Funeral Home of Austin (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
