He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio Mendoza and Guadalupe Mendoza; and his brother Benito Julio Mendoza. He is survived by: his wife Leticia Garcia Mendoza; his children, Mellisa Michelle (Christopher Johnson), April Ranae, Roberto Carlos (Maria Susana Castañon) and Juan Carlos (Ruddy Sanchez); his grandchildren, Mathew, Mercer, Mila and Catalina; and his siblings, Clementina (Benito), Belisario Alfonso (Margaret Rose), Jose Rolando (Mary Rose), Luis Enrique, Victor Manuel (Mary Helen), Mario Alberto (Ranae) and Noelia (Alberto). He is also survived by nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Carlos' memory may make donations that will go to Catholic War Veterans Post 1805 or VFW Post 3377, organizations that were especially meaningful to him. A collective donation will be made by the family.
