Casey Alayne (Piwonka) Gullo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Casey Alayne Piwonka Gullo (Austin, Texas), born in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 40 (barely). Obviously this is something, I assume like most people, something I was never expecting write but occasionally everything goes so wrong so fast that those luxuries like time, options, our hearts and even goodbyes are stripped away in an instant and we are suddenly forced to try and find the best way to tell all the people you love the most the hardest thing you've ever had to say, that we just lost an absolutely beautiful, irreplaceable, forever glowing soul way too soon. Casey was a true Light force that could effortlessly lift anyone's spirits and put a smile on anyone's face any time whether you liked it or not. She definitely did that to me many, many times and some of those times were definitely of the "whether you like or not" variety but always a smile. The world lost a true conduit of light, love, and yeah I think I should mention goofy again along with lots and lots of laughter, literally all the good things in a human. I could literally go on for days and still not be satisfied with that the description of my beautiful little sister, there's just too much to say and some things just have to be experienced. If you were fortunate enough to have even a single opportunity to experience the genuine, loving, beautiful, happy and most importantly, the super goofy energy that swirled around her, I think you should consider yourself lucky because there's just not a lot of people that can handle all those qualities with humility, just really rare in my experience. I know I feel lucky to have had her in my life and this is the hardest thing that I personally have ever experienced and I know I'm not alone in feeling that way today. That being said I will remain forever grateful for every minute she was in my life.
I found some comfort and hopefully you can too, in the fact that I know with 100% certainty that in the end she was happy, comfortable and felt loved, she really did. We love you Casey so much and that will never, ever stop.

Casey was survived by her children, Ty Woodson, Whitney and Tripp Gullo. Her parents Linda (Bowie) Hatchett, Paul (Vickie) Piwonka, her brothers Danny and Mikel Piwonka and her sister Samantha Piwonka. Her Nieces and Nephews and many many Aunts, Uncles and Cousin.
