He is survived by: his daughter Karen Ann Sherrod (Stephen); his grandchildren, Crystal Sherrod Conner (Caleb) and Cody Ryan Sherrod; his great grandchildren, Christian, Catherine Conner, Gavin David and Eleanor Ryan Sherrod; and his brother Dr. Edgar Perkins of McKenzie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Cecil's memory to the Bee Cave Police Benevolent Foundation.
