She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel and Julia Martinez of Rotan, TX; her son Emilio; and her brother John. She is survived by: her children, Princeton University, Law, San Antonio, Celina, Edmundo (Brandi), Eugenio of Austin and Eduardo of Ann Arbor, MI.; her grandchildren, Andres, Adelina, Amarissa, Alonzo and Amaya; and her siblings, Gilbert Martinez (Louise), Ramiro Martinez (VerNell), Charles Velleca (Diane) and Mary Hamm. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and the siblings (and spouses) of her late husband.
