He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Mitis. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Hamilton (Zach) and Emily Mitis; his grandson Charles Ever Hamilton; his brother Stephen Mitis (Amy); and his nieces, Jill Mitis-Jones (Dia) and Stephanie Rhoades (Peter).
