We announce the death of Charles Douglas Cauley of Austin, Texas, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 83. Charles will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Weldon Cauley and Ora Evangeline Violet Cauley (Jones); his siblings, Charlene Bowden (Cauley), Ora Mae Cauley and Ronnie Cauley; and his son Jason Charles Cauley.

He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Gail Cauley (Corley); his children, Kevin Ray Cauley (Mary Lynn) and Melissa McCullough; his grandchildren, Austin Cauley, Madison McCullough, Charles G. Cauley, Hayden McCullough, Edward Cauley and Gavin Cauley; and his sister Dema Flick (Jamey).
