He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Elwood Roades and Carolyn Elizabeth Roten Roades of El Campo; his daughter Jennifer Lynn Roades; and his brother Robert Roades. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Brandl Roades; his brother John Roades (Therese); his sister-in-law Nancy Brandl; and his nieces and nephews, Kerry Brandl (Suzanne), Christi Meggs (Russ), Leslie Roades (Chris Benso) and Elizabeth Roades Parker (Drew). He is also survived by great nephews, and great niece, many cousins and friends.
