He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Christine Clark Doyal and Flossie Camuel Doyal, Sr.; and his wife Mollie Bert Poe Doyal. He is survived by: his sons, Scot (Lisa Doyal), Mark Camuel Doyal of Austin, Bret Clyde Doyal (Andrea Lynn Phillips) of Austin and Jon Eric Doyal (Carolyn Elizabeth Doyal) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, John Avery Doyal, Blake Clyde Doyal, Adan Bret Triana-Doyal, Bret Alejandro Triana-Doyal, Gisela Triana-Alvarez, Matthew, Maleana Doyal, James Doyal, Sydney Nadeau, John David Doyal (Paige Doyal), Mary Catherine Doyal and Gracie Jayne Doyal; his great grandchild Kobie Carolyn Doyal; and his significant other Carol Allbritton.

In later years of his life, he was run over by a car, developed lung cancer, was bitten by a copperhead and came down with Covid while in the hospital being treated for the snake bite.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to any foundation or charity of your choosing that is dedicated to the research and ultimate cure of cancer, all cancer.
