He was predeceased by: his son Daniel "Buck" Lucio; his great grandchild Jordan Cortez; his parents, Guadalupe Lucio and Nacidia Alaniz; his stepfather Gaetano Alaniz; his brothers, Marcelino Lucio and Gustavo Lucio; and his stepsiblings, Petra, Ramona, Gernanda, Virginia and Lucino.

He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Adkins (Bobby), Debra Lucio (Robert Gonzalez) and Cynthia Lucio; his grandson Daniel Estrada (Krista Schizas-Estrada); his great grandchild Erin Henderson (Brian); and his grandchildren, Morgan Uriarte (Marcel), Sierra Bush (Austin), Amber Cortez, Chelsa Cortez, Danielle Heckman (Cole), Robert Cortez (Madison), Bethany Cortez (Shane Mooney), Anthony Cortez, Joshua Cortez and Allison Marquez (Paul). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
