He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Boedeker and Marie Boedeker (Richter); and his brother Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Sonia; his children, Matthew (Sarah), Aaron and Sarah (Jeremy Lee); his grandchildren, Brian, Emily, Saige, Sawyer, Cooper, Cora, Claire, Elijah Lee, Caleb Lee and Benjamin Lee; and his sister Evelyn Vittek.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cook-Walden Funeral Home (6100 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (5909 Reicher Dr, Austin, TX 78723). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery (14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660).
