He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch Manor and Anna Wright-Manor of David; and his siblings, Arthur Manor, Isaiah Manor, Gennetta McCarthur, Sam Manor, Josephine Reed of Minnie Lee Bell, D. C, Milton Manor, Annie Brown, George Manor, Henry Manor and Lillie Mae Hemphill.
He is survived by: his sons, Doug Smith (Beverly), David Manor (Gloria), Steve Manor and Arthur James Smith; his grandchildren, Shantae Lavette Gordon, Danielle Moore (Tim) and David Earl Manor II; his great grandchildren, Marcus Dwaun Thomas, Daqualyn Kyree Singleton, Raquan Quintaevious Moss (Tatyana), Damarian Javon Johnson, Rayne Chanelle Cavazos, Ryah Camille Cavazos and Trenton Dax Moore; and his great great grandchild Chayil King Moss.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home (607 E Anderson Ln, Austin, TX 78752). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
