She was predeceased by: her son Ramiro René Acosta; and her parents, Luis Polanco and Mary Helen Gonzalez Polanco. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Shawn Acosta, Anissa Nanette Acosta (Juan Morales), Patrick Adrian Acosta (Estefany) and Paul Anthony Acosta (Leana Guzman); her grandchildren, Christopher Shawn Acosta II, Christian Shawn Ramiro Acosta, Julissa Carleen Morales, Juan Carlos Morales II, Julius, Camden Morales, Austin Vallejo and Paul Anthony Acosta II; her great grandchild Christopher Shawn Acosta III; and her siblings, Melissa Katherine Mojica, Melanie Carol Polanco and Luis Polanco. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
