He was predeceased by: his parents, Puran Burman and Kusum Burman. He is survived by: his wife Sushma; his children, Sudeep, Mohit (Sheridan) and Rika (Jerod); his grandchildren, Islay, Hayes, Emric, Remy and Zuri; and his siblings, Dinesh and Jytosna.
In lieu of flowers and gifts the family kindly requests memorial donations be made in his honor to Rotary Club Austin "University Area".
