She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberto C. Champion and Santitos B. Champion. She is survived by: her husband Justice Raul A. González; her children, Celeste Marie González of San Antonio, TX, Rev. Dom Ignacio González, Marco Antonio González (Deborah) of Castroville, TX and Sonia González Ramón (Johnny) of Austin, TX.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth González Schmidt (Michael), Mia Alejandra González, Sofia Elena González, Isabella Ramón Vitale (Christopher), Amelia Dora Ramón, Stella Karina Ramón, Antonio Raúl Ramón and Camilla Faith Ramón; her great grandchildren, Emmett Michael Schmidt, Madeline Elizabeth Schmidt and Rosemary Magdalene Vitale; her siblings, Robert G. Champion, Gloria Champion Garcia (Homero) and Ernesto R. Champion (Elba); and her siblings-in-law, René González (Anne), Hernán González (Mary) and Magdalena González. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church (126 W Oltorf St, Austin, TX 78704). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Texas State Cemetery (909 Navasota St, Austin, TX 78702).
