Doris Burk Looney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Burk Looney of Austin, Texas, who passed away on April 19, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Burk and Mae Foy Burk. She is survived by: her son Hank Looney; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Looney; her grandsons, Paul "Cuatro" Looney IV and John Patrick Looney; and her cousin Blan Patterson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Manchaca United Methodist Church (1011 Farm to Market 1626, Manchaca, TX 78652).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Manchaca United Methodist Church Stephen's Ministry or the Food Pantry.
