She was predeceased by: her parents, A. G. Benford and Mary L Reese Benford; her grandparents, Isom and Viola Reese; her siblings, Artiste Benford, Mary Evelyn Gage, Geraldine Wright and John Benford; and her grandson Michael Travis Jones.
She is survived by: her aunt Viola Faye Gooden of Bastrop, TX. She is also survived by her four children, thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren.
