She was predeceased by: her former husband Gordon W. Neelley, Sr.; her daughter Dorothy Ann Neelley Steinle; her husband John Henry Kavanaugh; her siblings, Louise and Marvin Self, Jr.; and her parents, Edith Lillian Self and Marvin Victor Self.

She is survived by: her son Gordon Neelley, Jr.; and her grandchildren, John Steinle IV, Elaine Steinle Gardner, Terri Steinle Parks, Natalie Neelley Hefner and Kimberly Neelley Stephens. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
