Elaine Ephraim Lebowitz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Ephraim Lebowitz of Austin, Texas, born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Greenspan (Donny); her daughter-in-law Lise Goldman; her grandchildren, Adam Greenspan (Shannon Scott), Gina Manlove (Kyle) and Samantha Goldman; and her great grandchildren, Nelly and Miles Manlove.
In March of 2023, Elaine established the Elaine and Leon Lebowitz Eldercare Fund, in association with the Shalom Austin Jewish Foundation, to assist seniors in the community with housing needs. Contributions in her memory may be made to that fund, to Congregation Beth Israel, the Leon and Elaine Lebowitz Endowed Presidential Scholarship at UT Law, or the worthy cause of your choice.
